Pets

A source of much joy,

But at times they annoy,

They can be so much fun,

Sweetly trusting everyone

And the stress of MS they help destroy.

A New Poetry Project

I don't pretend to think I am attractive, witty, or interesting. My life with this disease leaves so many thoughts cramped in my brain that I cannot get rid of them and all of their pain. So, at times, I take it upon myself to vent through the only art form with which I am familiar: poetry. 

     For January I have chosen the Limerick. Limericks are fun, simple to write, but can also carry weight. So below you will get to read my Limerick for the first week of the year 2025. 

Limerick #1 Goals

So,now it is a new year.

Let me make one thing clear:

A new goal was made,

And plans were laid,

To shove more lines in your ear.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

So, I've begun a new poetry project for 2025. I'm hoping it goes almost like the last time: enjoyable and enlightening. I'll try to stay optimistically pessimistic about it. See you on Friday. 😎
